Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and providing product information.
- Conduct product demos when applicable to highlight features and benefits to customers.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and appealing store environment.
- Upsell related products and suggest additional items to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
- Manage cash handling duties responsibly, including balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in retail settings.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers.
- Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is highly desirable.
