TSI Cares Network is seeking a dependable, compassionate Residential Coach to support youth and young adults in a structured residential environment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can build positive relationships while providing structure, maintaining professional boundaries, and remaining calm when situations become challenging.
Residential Coaches work directly with clients in the home and community, helping them develop communication, emotional regulation, daily living, independence, and other important life skills.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision and support to youth and young adults
- Help maintain a safe, structured, supportive residential environment
- Support daily routines, hygiene, household responsibilities, and independent living skills
- Prepare meals and assist with established household routines
- Support clients with communication, behavior, and emotional regulation
- Use approved behavioral support and de-escalation techniques
- Lead or assist with recreational, educational, and community-based activities
- Follow individualized client plans and established procedures
- Complete required documentation and communicate important information to the team
- Oversee medication self-administration as assigned and trained
- Transport or accompany clients during community-based activities as required
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents is required; qualifying experience may include employment, volunteer work, internships, or other relevant experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background screening
- Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to remain calm and professional during challenging or emotionally intense situations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Willingness to complete required training and ongoing professional development
Experience with individuals with disabilities or diverse support needs, foster-care populations, residential programs, behavioral health, social services, education, or youth programs is a plus.
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week. Because TSI Cares Network provides residential services, schedules vary based on program needs and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Growth
Compensation is based on training level:
- Residential Coach I: $15.00–$16.00/hour
- Residential Coach II: $17.00–$18.00/hour
- Residential Coach III: $18.00–$22.00/hour
Multidisciplinary training is provided, with opportunities for continued professional development and advancement.
