Ebels General Store in Falmouth is seeking a Full-Time motivated Shipping and Receiving Operator to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will manage the inventory of incoming and outgoing products. The position involves operating powered industrial trucks to receive and transport materials. You will work closely with production teams, providing essential support to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and able to complete tasks efficiently while communicating effectively with team members.
Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments to ensure accuracy with purchase orders and delivery manifests.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by verifying product counts and weights, labeling pallets, and completing necessary documentation.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials and products throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively via hand-held radio with team members and supervisors to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
- Assist with organizing warehouse space for optimal storage and accessibility.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.
