Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles including school buses, paratransit vans, and commercial trucks to transport passengers or goods efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety at all times.
- Communicate clearly with passengers, clients, and team members using effective English and multilingual skills when applicable.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing excellent customer service and support for individuals with special needs or mobility challenges.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical readiness; report any issues promptly to maintenance teams.
- Manage behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed by passengers, especially children or senior citizens, demonstrating strong behavior management skills.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel use, and passenger counts; complete necessary documentation diligently.

Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or appropriate non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for all passengers.
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and adhere to schedules reliably.
- Physical ability to work with a team completing deliveries, pick ups, loading, unloading, and white glove services.
Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
