Coffee Production Assistant — Packaging (Moschetti Espresso, Vallejo, CA)
Moschetti Espresso is a family-owned artisan coffee roaster in Vallejo, roasting since 1989. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our small production team, primarily packaging freshly roasted coffee.
What you'll do
- Bag, can, and seal roasted coffee beans to order, with accurate weights and labeling
- Prepare finished product for wholesale and retail orders
- Keep the packaging and production areas clean and organized to food safety standards
- Move product and supplies around the roastery — this includes regular lifting (up to ~50 lbs)
- Help with occasional production tasks as needed as part of a small, hands-on team
What we're looking for
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with repetitive hands-on work
- Attention to detail — accurate weights, clean seals, correct labels every time
- Able to lift and be on your feet for most of a shift
- Basic math for weights and order counts
- Food handling or packaging experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person
