Job Summary
We're looking for a Product Development & Sourcing Coordinator to join our Product team, reporting to the VP of Product Development & Sourcing. This role is at the center of how Universal Yums brings new products to market. You'll partner closely with our Product Development & Sourcing Managers and cross-functional teams to keep projects organized, coordinated, and progressing reliably from concept to launch, with hands-on involvement and visibility across our full product pipeline. This is a full-time position based in our Roseland, NJ office.
Role Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and organize inbound product samples from suppliers; maintain accurate product records and ensure all samples are properly documented, labeled, and stored for product development, retail, and photography needs.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments supporting the product development function, including tracking status, coordinating delivery timing, and ensuring samples reach the right stakeholders on schedule.
- Coordinate taste panels and product evaluation sessions end-to-end, including logistics, materials, and feedback capture.
- Maintain and administer consumer surveys, including form generation, data collation, and preparation of feedback summaries for management review.
- Support cross-functional coordination between Product Development, Operations, Compliance, and Creative teams to keep development milestones on track and surface issues proactively.
- Assist with sourcing activities for collateral and non-edible components as directed, including vendor outreach, quote coordination, and communication management through to order readiness.
- Take on additional coordination tasks as the team, product portfolio, and development processes evolve.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a coordination, operations, or administrative support role, preferably within food, CPG, or product development.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring information is captured and communicated accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and timelines at the same time.
- Comfortable maintaining structured product data across systems with strong attention to taxonomy and accuracy. Familiarity with ERPs, PIMs, or other structured data systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with and curiosity toward AI and new technologies
- Clear, proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and flags potential issues.
- Physically able to handle sample shipments, organize storage areas, and set up evaluation sessions; ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment where processes are being built alongside delivery.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
