Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues swiftly.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety procedures, and NFPA 70 standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation, repair, and renovation tasks on construction sites or existing facilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and repairing complex issues.
- Ability to work safely with high-voltage wiring and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects or new installations; handyman skills are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
