We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques such as sweeping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure a polished appearance.
- Assist with hotel-specific tasks such as replenishing supplies and ensuring guest areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Support janitorial operations by managing waste disposal, restocking amenities, and ensuring cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks or set-up for events as needed to support overall property operations.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by delivering friendly service and maintaining a positive environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
