Duties
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Utilize salon software systems for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
- Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, treatments, and retail products that meet clients’ needs
- Upsell retail products including hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to boost salon revenue
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and grooming techniques
- Proficiency in advanced skills including hair extensions, color theory, straight razor shaves, and hair threading
- Knowledge of salon management software for efficient scheduling and client records management
- Strong communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to perform makeup application and nail care services as needed
- Commitment to sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math calculations to maximize revenue opportunities
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
