Duties
- Lead product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Supervise daily sales activities, ensuring team members meet sales goals and adhere to company standards
- Train new and existing staff on POS (Point of Sale) systems, merchandising, stock replenishment, and customer service protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with merchandising efforts, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Conduct product demos that highlight key features to enhance customer understanding and boost sales performance
- Support cashiering duties by handling transactions accurately, managing cash handling procedures, and balancing registers
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and provide effective training on sales techniques and product knowledge
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and customer engagement
- Experience in upselling, merchandising, stocking, and retail math to optimize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory management
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
