Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive rehabilitative services, including behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, and case management, to support clients in achieving their personal goals. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to determine individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapies such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mental health counseling tailored to each client's needs.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health conditions, substance use disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
- Implement crisis management and crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during emergencies.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical teams to develop comprehensive care plans that support client progress and family involvement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Supervise clinical staff and provide clinical supervision to interns or less experienced team members, ensuring high-quality patient care delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral management techniques, social work practices, and addiction counseling.
- Skilled in crisis intervention, crisis management, and working effectively under pressure in hospital or community settings.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and data collection; knowledge of CPT coding is a plus.
- Strong background in case management, patient care coordination, diagnostic evaluation, and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience supervising clinical teams or providing clinical supervision is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health conditions; experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders is preferred.

Pay: $41.30 - $43.87 per hour
