LAL Construction Co. Inc. is seeking an experienced and reliable General Construction Laborer to join our team. As a company that has been established since 1977, we pride ourselves in working locally and having a loyal workforce. We offer union laborer benefits, and the rate for this position is currently $41.66/hour.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical labor tasks in various weather conditions such as heat, cold and rain at commercial, civil and industrial locations.
Operate hand and power tools such as saws, compactors, jackhammers, compressors, rollers and other assigned tools.
Install concrete and asphalt sidewalks, set forms, clean up rubble and debris.
Load and unload construction materials and be able to lift up to 70+ pounds.
Assist craft workers as needed.
Clean and maintain tools, trucks and equipment.
Follow instructions from Supervisors.
Ensure clean job sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years experience in concrete, curbing, asphalt, drainage or other relevant fields.
Be reliable and a hard worker.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Ability to perform physical labor, strenuous task and lift heavy objects.
Experience in laying concrete and asphalt sidewalks, as well as installing and resetting granite curbing.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
