As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while guiding clients through their cannabis purchasing experience. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, edibles, and concentrates.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Process transactions efficiently using the POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Answer customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of cannabis products and their effects is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain cleanliness in the store.
