Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Online Store Assistant to oversee our grocery market’s online ordering operations. This position is responsible for managing product listings, photographing products, maintaining online inventory, publishing promotions, processing customer orders, and ensuring smooth delivery, pickup, and shipping operations.
The successful candidate will take ownership of our online store and help grow online sales while maintaining a high level of customer service and order accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily online store operations
- Photograph products and prepare images for website listings
- Upload new products, descriptions, pricing, and inventory
- Maintain accurate product information and availability
- Publish weekly ads and specials on the website
- Process and monitor delivery, pickup, and shipping orders
- Pack and prepare customer orders accurately
- Create shipping labels and track shipments
- Follow up on customer orders and resolve issues
- Monitor website performance and report problems
- Assist with online promotions, email marketing
- Identify opportunities to improve online sales and customer experience
- Coordinate with store staff to ensure inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- Grocery market, supermarket, specialty food store, or grocery e-commerce experience preferred
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience with online ordering systems, e-commerce platforms, or inventory management software
- Ability to take clear, professional product photos using a smartphone or camera
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be fluent in english
- Farsi Language Skills are a plus but not required
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience working in a grocery or food retail environment and understands both store operations and online ordering. This person is organized, technology-friendly, self-motivated, and capable of managing the day-to-day operations of an online grocery store with minimal supervision.
