Role Summary/Purpose
The expectations for this role are to help flow material and other essential products through the shop in a safe and productive manner. This will include covering for other truckers in the plant including the press area and receiving.
Essential Responsibilities
- Move freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using trucks or other equipment
- Use standard measuring instruments
- Unload trucks at the receiving dock when necessary and perform the related SAP transactions
- Perform standard work per the quality work plans
- Generate improvement ideas on a weekly basis
- Participation in team-based improvement activities
- Active participation in standard work revisions
- Clean, maintain, and organize assigned area
- Frequent heavy lifting
- Perform Hazardous Waste Management (daily inspection, shipping prep, etc.)*
- Able to interpret shop blueprints
- Able to interpret MOSs and BOMs
- Able to do shop math
- Delivery of material and essential supplies throughout the plant
- Assisting with die keeping

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Willing and able to become fork truck licensed
- HAZMAT Certification required (must be obtained within 90 days of starting job)*

- 8 Hour Shifts: 6:30am - 2:30pm
- Pay Rate: $20.82 per hour
- 120 Hours Vacation and 40 hours Sick/Personal Time available after 90-day probation period (Prorated through the year based on start date)
- Paid Holidays – 11 Per Year
