Litigation Paralegal (Confidential)
An established law firm is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join its team in New York, NY.
The position follows a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the Manhattan office each week.
Primary Responsibilities
Case Administration & Court Filings
- Dossier Oversight: Build, structure, and maintain both digital and physical case repositories to ensure seamless access for the legal team.
- Docket Management: Independently monitor court calendars, track critical deadlines, and schedule hearings across a diverse portfolio of active matters.
- Judicial Filings: Execute electronic filings across state and federal jurisdictions, with heavy utilization of PACER and NYSCEF.
Document Generation & Discovery Support
- Drafting & Editing: Prepare, proofread, and refine foundational legal materials, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, formal notices, and client correspondence.
- E-Discovery Coordination: Manage high-volume document reviews and productions using Relativity and similar specialized databases.
- Evidence Organization: Synthesize and index deposition transcripts, expert testimonies, and evidentiary exhibits.
- External Liaison: Coordinate directly with court reporters, process servers, and e-discovery vendors.
Trial Prep & Research
- Trial Readiness: Construct comprehensive trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, and visual demonstrative materials.
- Investigative Research: Conduct targeted factual and legal research utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms.
- Ad Hoc Support: Attend depositions, mediations, and court proceedings as required, while providing general administrative and billing assistance to assigned counsel.
Professional Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or a verified Paralegal Certification paired with relevant firm experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of dedicated litigation experience within a law firm setting. Direct exposure to commercial, employment, or general civil litigation is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on mastery of Westlaw, LexisNexis, Relativity, PACER, NYSCEF, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Direct experience navigating iManage or equivalent document management systems is highly advantageous.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
