OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, required equipment, and operations sequences
- Inspect and test products to verify conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments
- Drill, countersink, and ream holes in parts and assemblies for bolts, screws, and other fasteners, using power tools
- Cut, shape, and form plastic parts
- Devise and construct tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures, or modify existing tools and equipment
- Rework or alter component model or parts as required to ensure that products meet standards
- Grind, file, and sand parts to finished dimensions
- Other duties as required by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have basic mathematic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Read, write and speak English
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 1 or more years of prior manufacturing experience required
- Experience using a tape measure as well as hand or power tools
- Sign experience a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and use hands to operate the telephone, type and operate computer and mouse.
- The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to stand for entirety of work schedule
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
