Duties
- Provide compassionate pet care by feeding, walking, and monitoring animals’ health and behavior
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff
- Build and move plastic crates used for animal travel
- Basic animal bathing & brushing to maintain hygiene and comfort
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas while adhering to health and safety standards
- Possible local transport to airports or vet facilities if needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with animals such as veterinary technician or assistant experience, kennel work, or pet sitting is a MUST.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and dog handling skills
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively
- Experience in pet grooming or veterinary care is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal transport or equipment handling
- A genuine passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass background check
