Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update records in real-time.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly while utilizing mechanical knowledge for proper handling techniques.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are correctly loaded, unloaded, and documented.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or racks and managing load & unload activities efficiently.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and heavy equipment operation.
- Valid certification for forklift operation, crane operation, clamp trucks, or other heavy machinery is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with heavy equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other warehouse tools confidently.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and the ability to perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and warehouse operations.
- Prior experience in construction or with heavy equipment is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude towards learning is essential.

Pay: $22.72 - $27.27 per hour
