Job Summary
We are seeking a Mandarin speaking detail-oriented and energetic Vegetables Wholesale Bookkeeper to manage the financial records and accounting functions for our vegetable distribution business. In this vital role, you will oversee all bookkeeping activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards. Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to vegetable wholesale operations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly through bank reconciliation procedures to verify account accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Oversee payroll processing and tax-related filings, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
- Conduct account reconciliation activities and perform month-end closing procedures with precision.
- Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and revenue streams related to wholesale vegetable sales.
- Assist with audit preparations by maintaining organized financial documentation and supporting schedules.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, governmental accounting standards, and non-profit accounting if applicable.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards for accurate financial reporting and double-entry bookkeeping techniques.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and journal entries.
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes.
- Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Experience in payroll processing and tax compliance is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
