About the Role
As a Lead CAD Designer and Technical Drafting Specialist, you will drive the precision of our design output while mentoring a team of drafters to achieve high-quality project results. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between conceptual engineering and final fabrication, ensuring our technical documentation sets the standard for excellence.
Responsibilities-
Direct the production of complex technical drawings, ensuring all specifications align with project objectives.

Serve as a technical authority by reviewing and validating drafting work to maintain rigorous quality control.

Optimize internal drafting workflows and CAD standards to boost overall team productivity and design accuracy.

Partner with engineering and project management stakeholders to translate design requirements into actionable fabrication plans.

Facilitate the professional growth of junior staff through hands-on training and technical mentorship.

Drive innovation during design reviews by proposing creative solutions that enhance product manufacturability.

Coordinate project timelines to ensure consistent delivery of high-precision documentation in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.

5+ years of professional experience in technical drafting, specifically within millwork and metal fabrication.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Microvellum software suites.

Deep understanding of commercial construction standards, material properties, and modern fabrication techniques.

Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Prior experience utilizing Innergy software for project management.

Demonstrated history of implementing CAD best practices in a manufacturing setting.
