We are seeking several experienced mid-level Security Alarm Technicians to support a high-volume workload through the summer months and into August. This is a position designed for technicians who can work independently on installations and service assignments but are not serving in a lead technician capacity. Our projects are fast-paced, demanding, and primarily located on educational campuses and commercial facilities. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong technical skills, professionalism, schedule flexibility, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ideal candidates must be available to work flexible schedules between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and willing to work weekends as project demands require.
Pay rate is $24 - $27 DOE and pay day is EVERY FRIDAY!!!
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and service security systems, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and related low-voltage infrastructure.
- Read and interpret project drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation.
- Perform device mounting, cable termination, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain quality standards while meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, customers, and team members.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Travel to project sites throughout the region as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Candidates should have familiarity with one or more of the following platforms: Genetec, Lenel, Verkada, Video Insight, DNA Fusion / Acre Security
- Must have own power, hand, and measuring tools.
