Community Engagement/Outreach Specialist

Schedule: 5 - 10 hours/week (some weekend events required)
About FurReal Live
FurReal Live is a live-streaming community for pets and animal lovers. We help pet owners, animal rescues, shelters, and pet businesses share real pet moments through live streaming.
Responsibilities:
Outreach & Onboarding
- Develop and execute animal community outreach strategies to increase awareness of FurReal Live.
- Build relationships with local animal shelters, rescues, and pet businesses.
- Introduce and demonstrate the FurReal Live app.
- Help organizations create accounts and launch their first live stream.
Event Support
- Attend local pet adoption and community events.
- Assist with setting up and managing live streams.
Creator Recruitment & Engagement
- Recruit pet owners, trainers, groomers, walkers, sitters, and other pet content creators to join the platform.
- Support creators in developing a regular live-streaming schedule.
- Follow up with creators to encourage ongoing engagement and activity.
- Gather feedback from users and organizations.
Qualifications
- Passion for animals and animal welfare.
- Animal shelter/rescue/foster experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with pet owners and business owners.
