Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Photo Lab and Graphic Design Assistant to join our creative team! Responsibilities
- Understands and fulfills the needs of walk-in customers and telephone/email inquiries.
- Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure accurate reproduction across various media.
- Assist with layout design, typography, and overall graphic composition using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Perform quality control checks on printed materials, ensuring consistency and adherence to client standards.
- Maintain printers operation to optimize production efficiency.
- Support prepress activities including file preparation, proofing, and troubleshooting print issues.
Qualifications
- Must have a creative mindset with a strong artistic foundation.
- Some experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Willing to train the right person.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Digital photography and photo editing skills.
- Knowledge of color management techniques and print production workflows.
- Familiarity with digital printing technology.
- Familiarity with prepress software for preparing files for print.
- Basic understanding of typography, layout design, and print advertising principles.
- Attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to ensure quality control throughout production processes.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
