Job description
We are looking for a Kitchen Lead/Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations of our small restaurant. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.
Responsibilities
- Primary role is to act as head line cook;
- Oversee and participate in day-to-day kitchen operations. Including, but not limited to, prep-cook duties, and cashier-duties;
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses by tracking inventory, orders, waste, labor, etc.;
- Work with manager to develop policies and processes;
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance of the kitchen;
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations (must be ServSafe Manager Certified).
Skills
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Lead/Supervisor or similar role;
- Strong analytical ability;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills;
- Problem-solving aptitude.

Qualifications
- Proven kitchen management experience with a strong focus on staff training and development;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise kitchen operations;
- Proficient in food service management and inventory control;
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast, DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub).
- Background in fast-casual dining.
- Strong analytical skills for optimizing kitchen efficiency and food production
IMPORTANT: This position is MThFri: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Sat/Sun 9:30AM - 4:30 PM. Weekends and Holidays mandatory. Do not apply if you are unavailable during these hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
