Position Summary
The Director / Vice President of Strategic Solutions Sales is responsible for originating, leading, and closing complex mid-market and enterprise Managed Transportation (4PL) opportunities. This individual contributor leader serves as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams, helping shippers transform their transportation networks through strategic consulting, technology, analytics, optimization, and managed transportation solutions.
This role drives forward the commercial strategy for the pursuit of new business, owning opportunities from executive discovery through solution design, financial modeling, proposal development, executive presentations, contract negotiation, and implementation handoff. Success requires a consultative executive seller with deep transportation expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around customer business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing transportation strategy with a COO, designing an optimized operating model with Solutions Engineering, presenting ROI to a CFO, and negotiating multi-year commercial agreements.
At Sheer Logistics, our DRIVE values—Data, Results, Innovation, Velocity, and Energy—define how we work and how we win. The successful candidate will embody these values while helping customers modernize their supply chains and drive profitable enterprise growth.
