POSITION TITLE: Monitor
Position Purpose: Enforce facility rules and regulations in assigned area(s); inspect the facility for maintenance/janitorial/hazard issues and notify management as necessary. Assist in First Aid/CPR and contact local EMS/Police/Sheriff/Fire Department in an emergency.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Program Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of Immanuel House; and
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Light Housekeeping
- Inventory Logs and Requests
- Weekly Quality Assurance
- Facilitate skill building groups for participants
- Writing group notes
- Writing individual notes
- Maintaining Daily facility Log
- Observing Medication Being Passed and Taken.
- Documenting Medication Being Passed and Taken.
- Maintains Visual Contact with Participants at all Times.
- Maintains Refrigerator Log and Quality Assurance Procedures.
JOB RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
PG. 1
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
- Excellent Communication skills: Listens and gets clarification when necessary. Responds informatively to questions.
- Must be culturally/linguistically sensitive to populations served.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
- Conflict Resolution: Able to handle conflicting interests diplomatically and to help solve them by listening and remaining calm under stress.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have the ability to pass a criminal background investigation.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain CDCR clearance.
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed in residential or outpatient facility.
- Occasional lifting of more than 30 pounds
- Sitting, standing, walking, reaching are performed in the normal course of the position
- Must be able to navigate stairs many times a day.
- Must be able to do extensive charting and documentation
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & CLEARANCE:
1. Clearance on Background/DOJ Live scan result per contract requirements.
2. Negative reading from pre-employment TB and Drug Tests.
3. Food Handlers Card
4. CPR/First Aid Certification
5. Registration by an accredited organization recognized by the Department of Health Care Services(DHCS) preferred.
