Need people with with any availability. You will be working only 4 days out of the week. extra shifts can be picked up with call outs and people going on vacation.
Hillcrest Dog Spot is looking for a reliable, experienced Kennel Attendant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced dog daycare and boarding environment. If you enjoy working with dogs and can confidently manage multiple dogs at once, we would love to hear from you.
This is a part-time position (up to 30 hours per week) with opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available. This is for an evening shift or an overnight shift.
Pay
Starting Pay: $13 per hour
Pay Increase: Eligible for a raise after 3 months based on performance
Requirements
Must have 6 months to 1 year of experience working with dogs outside of your own personal or family pets (dog daycare, kennel, vet clinic, shelter, training facility, etc.)
Applicants without professional dog-handling experience will not be reviewed
Must be comfortable working with up to 50 dogs in our facility at one time
Ability to remain calm, attentive, and in control in a high-energy environment
Reliable transportation and punctuality are required
Ability to stand, move, and clean for extended periods
Responsibilities
Supervising and interacting with dogs in daycare and play groups
Monitoring dog behavior and ensuring safe play
Cleaning kennels, play areas, and facility spaces
Feeding and providing water as instructed
Assisting with dog check-in/check-out as needed
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for dogs
