CREATIVE SERVICES MANAGER
The Manager of Creative Services leads the company’s creative function and is responsible for protecting and evolving GLISTER, INC.’s products, services and brands across every customer touchpoint. This role oversees the creative team, prioritizes projects, enforces department processes, and partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Executive Leadership.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Lead the Creative Services department, directly managing designers, as well as project management and freelance teams.
- Establish creative strategy, maintain brand standards, and set and enforce department processes.
- Allocate resources across projects.
- Review work from the Designers – both internal and external, provide feedback, and approve creative concepts and final production files.
- Coach and develop designers, including training on workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Manage creative budgets and outside agencies/freelancers.
- Evaluate department performance and identify process improvements.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Executive Leadership on priorities and key initiatives.
- Develop packaging, POS, sales materials, digital assets, and trade show graphics as part of personal creative project work.
- Create presentations, renderings, and samples for sales proposals and meetings.
- Assist in new product development initiatives, specifically packaging concepts.
- Supervise quality control inspections of products designed by the creative team.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, leadership, and other key team members on project progress.
- Professional behavior when making phone calls and working with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate the ability to execute projects efficiently and independently to high standards, with little oversight.
- Given the nature of our growing company, this position will also include assignments related to multimedia design, photography, web development, and marketing.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to a college degree, the ideal candidate for this position will have:
- 10+ years of creative leadership experience, including a track record of managing and developing designers (3+ direct reports internally and a variety and number of external freelancers).
- Established relationships with freelancers that can support projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, plus working knowledge of Web Design/HTML.
- Experience in using AI to enhance and improve workflows and reduce effort and time budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal sales and marketing teams.
- A great sense of design and trends, with a willingness to generate new ideas and learn new applications and skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability and accuracy in work product

- Proficiency in Aftereffects or Premiere.
SALARY LEVEL/COMPENSATION:
Compensation is based on experience. Established range is $100,000 - $125,000.

REQUIRED MAJOR/EXPERIENCE:
- Graphic Design, Industrial Design.
- 10+ years of experience in graphic design or creative leadership – in-house or agency work.
