About the Position
Halo & Options is seeking motivated, professional, and customer focused Tax Preparers to join our team for the upcoming tax season. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping clients maximize their refunds while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and/or state individual tax returns
- Review client documents and ensure accuracy
- Interview Clint’s to gather tax information
- Educate clients on tax credit and deductions
- Maintain confidentially of all client information
- Follow IRS guidelines and company policies
- provide excellent customer service throughout the tax preparation process
Qualifications
- Previous tax preparation experience preferred
- PTIN required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer Skills
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Tax preparers are paid using a commission split, with opportunities such as 60/40 or 70/30, depending on experience performance and agreement
