Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and possess the necessary mechanical knowledge to operate various types of trucks, including roll-off, front loader, and rear loader vehicles. This role involves transporting waste materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate roll-off trucks for the collection and transportation of waste materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues encountered during transport.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed during the loading and unloading process.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a strong understanding of vehicle operation, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with various truck types such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks is essential.
- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
