Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated SHG Ed Tech Sales professional to drive growth and expand our educational technology solutions within targeted territories. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target schools, NGOs, government bodies, and corporate clients within assigned territories.
- Identify potential clients through cold calling, lead generation activities, and market research to expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our educational technology solutions.
- Manage key accounts by providing excellent customer service, understanding client requirements, and offering customized product packages.
- Lead negotiations and close sales deals while ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for clients and the company.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer information, and analyze sales trends for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, industry trends, and competitors to stay ahead in the B2B (business-to-business) sales landscape.
- Manage territory sales operations including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management within the education technology or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, territory management, and lead generation strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability in technical sales including product demos and upselling of educational solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to engage diverse stakeholders confidently.
- Ability to work independently with strong analysis skills to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans.
- Experience in retail or direct sales environments is a plus; willingness to travel within assigned territories is required.
