Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. In this vital role, you will assist with, monitor health and safety, and promote independence for those in your care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with, grooming, and meal prep
- Monitor patient health by observing behavior, and overall condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed, 2 children in household with Autism ages 9 and 11.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
- Document care activities and follow prescribed care plans
Requirements
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism is highly preferred
- Experience working in group homes, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, or home health settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals’ independence and well-being

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
