We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee multiple exterior remodeling projects from contract signing through final completion. This role is responsible for managing crews, maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering a five-star customer experience.
This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of projects, and can confidently solve problems while keeping jobs profitable and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential exterior remodeling projects simultaneously
- Coordinate and schedule siding, roofing, painting, decking, fencing, and window installation crews
- Recruit, onboard, and develop subcontractors and field employees
- Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and production standards are met
- Communicate with homeowners throughout each phase of the project
- Resolve job site issues quickly and professionally
- Coordinate material deliveries and verify material accuracy
- Maintain project schedules and adjust timelines as needed
- Work closely with the sales and office teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Review project costs and help maintain healthy profit margins
- Collect final walkthrough approvals and ensure punch lists are completed promptly
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Attend weekly production meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Support job site marketing by ensuring company signage and project photos are captured
- Help identify additional project opportunities and communicate them to the sales team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential construction or exterior remodeling production management experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple crews
- Strong knowledge of siding, roofing, painting, decking, windows, or fencing preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Ability to read scopes of work, contracts, and project specifications
- Comfortable using CRM software, scheduling tools, and mobile technology
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
