Job Description:
· Perform patient work-ups, including documenting medical history and conducting preliminary eye exams.
· Assist with contact lens dispensing, ordering, and fittings to ensure optimal patient comfort and vision.
· Efficiently manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, filing and verifying insurance coverage.
· Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
· Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
· Collaborate with the Optometrists, Opticians and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
· Adhere to established protocols and procedures maintaining a high standard of quality and patient safety.
Job Type: Full time 40 hrs/wk. Must be available to work on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 5:30pm, Sat 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Sunday closed
Compensation: $17-23/hour depending on experience
Required Education: High school diploma or higher

- Reside less than 20 miles from the office with reliable transportation
Preferred experience:
- Front Desk/receptionist 2+ year
- Optometric Technician 2+ year
- Optician a plus
- Prior experience with verifying and billing medical plans
- Familiarity with Crystal EMR
