The Role
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced dental front office professional who is ready to lead — someone who takes ownership of the patient experience, runs an efficient front desk, and makes every person who walks through our doors feel genuinely welcome.
If you have at least 2 years of dental front office experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a natural ability to connect with patients from all walks of life — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead the front desk and set the standard for patient experience
- Greet, check in, and check out patients with professionalism and warmth
- Build genuine rapport with a diverse patient base
- Manage high-volume scheduling, phone calls, and patient communication
- Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage clearly
- Collect payments, present financial options, and support case acceptance
- Register new patients and complete all intake paperwork accurately
- Keep records up to date and the schedule fully booked
- Mentor and support junior front office team members
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and all office policies
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience — required
- Proficiency with dental scheduling software (OpenDental experience a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable and confident engaging with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Calm, organized, and solution-focused in a high-volume setting
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- High school diploma or equivalent required
