What You Can Expect:
The Dishwasher performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in a hospital kitchen/cafeteria.
Operates dishwasher and/or hand washes dishes, silverware, glassware, and pots and pans.- Organizes and distributes cleaned and dried items.
- Cleans and sanitizes patient trays.
- Performs various cleaning duties to include cleaning floors, trash pick-up, hood fans, air vents, and other equipment as assigned.
- Performs cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing machine using appropriate chemicals per policy and procedures.
- Complies with proper utilization of personal protective equipment, chemicals, and MSDS information.
- Adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
