Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer/Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and finishing custom cabinetry and woodwork projects. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential projects and contribute to beautiful, functional spaces.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately craft and install cabinetry and woodwork.
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble wood components.
- Install custom cabinets, doors, siding, trim, fixtures, and other wood elements on-site with precision.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely to ensure efficient workflow.
- Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, stucco detailing, plastering, and rebar installation when necessary for restoration or remodeling projects.
- Operate woodworking machines safely while adhering to all power tool safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation aligns with design specifications and construction plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking, or residential carpentry.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking as well as operating woodworking machines.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
- Experience with fixture installation, door hanging, siding work, mold remediation, flooring installation, remodeling, or restoration industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights when required.

Pay: $25.98 - $31.29 per hour
