Background
We are looking for a reliable, experienced and proactive Technical Solutions Engineer to join a leading player in the cash management industry. This role is focused on our operations within the US, Canada and LATAM markets.

The Technical Solutions Engineer is a customer facing, hardware and software technical focus role. You will develop a deep level of understanding for Cashmaster solutions, supporting projects with our key accounts, internal projects, and operational/support teams.
You must have a strong interest in technology, automation, and ideally have prior experience in software, hardware, IT/networking and systems development. A passion for applying technology to drive improvement in our customer’s operations will help you succeed in the role.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop an in depth understanding of Cashmaster products and solutions, to act as the product and solutions expert in the NA Region providing support to key accounts and our internal teams (Account Managers, Business Development, and Customer Service)
- Work alongside members of our North America Business Development team, delivering product demonstrations, training, managing field trials and providing related technical support throughout the course of projects – both remote and on site at client premises.
- Support and/or lead software and hardware related projects such as new product introduction, industry partnerships / collaborations and system integrations.
- Prepare project plans, manage project teams, and achieve on-time delivery for assigned projects.
- Create product and software specifications, and associated technical documentation.
- Contribute to project commercial proposals, ensuring technical accuracy, robust definition of project scope, and accurate estimating.
- Provide Level 3 technical support to Key Accounts utilizing Cashmaster solutions, including product hardware, software and system integration.
- Gather ‘Voice of the Customer’ information from the clients, providing input to our future product and software development roadmap.
- Contribute as necessary to the company’s quality control procedures, liaising as necessary with operational staff.
- Conduct currency calibration and testing for Cashmaster products in the North America region, to ensure optimum counting and validation performance. (May require occasional domestic and/or international travel)
- Ensure correct functionality and proper configuration of all trial products leaving the Support Center.
- Maintain positive and professional communications with customers, and all Support Team members.
- Maintain records of customer iteractions within the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system – HubSpot.
- Work closely with the Group Technical team in managing product life cycles and new product introductions.
- Carry out other tasks as necessary as designated by relevant staff members.
What are we looking for in you?
- Educated to associate or bachelor’s Degree level, or equivalent in Software Development/Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
- Excellent Customer service and communication/presentation skills
- Strong commercial aptitude, focused on growth and revenue delivery
- Results oriented, with determination to deliver projects and tasks on time and to a high level of quality.
- Ability to work productively within a team environment and can establish good relationships with all levels of staff and external parties.
- A ‘can do’ attitude, keen to learn and flexible approach to working
- Fluent in written and verbal English. Additional languages of French or Spanish would be of benefit.
