The Warranty Administrators prepare, record, submit, and reconcile warranty claims to the factory and/or distributors.
You will adjust warranty Repair Orders, code and track Accounts Receivable payments, process claims, prepare accurate paperwork/documentation, reconcile receivables, submit/resubmit claims, and file and maintain service records. Additionally, you will reconcile and submit claims, track warranty parts, arrange for shipment to the factory or distributor, files and maintains all service requires as required by the warrantor while keeping abreast of all factory recalls and bulletins.
Requirements include
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or experience in a similar role.
- Independent self-starter with tenacity and drive.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency using computer applications, including MS Office
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with dealership management system software.
- Knowledge of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer-specific guidelines.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and repair terminology.
Incumbents will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening test.
In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
