Security Officer Access Control Driver
As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. You will also conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, authorizing entry and/or exit, and following security-related policies for the location.

Monitor employee, visitor, and contractor access points, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and unusual conditions.

Support screening and traffic flow for deliveries, vendors, and vehicles entering and leaving the location, while helping to deter unauthorized removal of property and/or access to restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
