Katopody LLC has a full-time audit and tax senior position available in our Grapevine, Texas office. We are a Certified Public Accounting firm specializing in audit, tax, and consulting within the real estate industry, specifically multi-family affordable housing and the low-income housing tax credit program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete tax and/or audit engagements for assigned clients with minimal oversight
- Perform detailed reviews of engagement work to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Complete the audit planning, fieldwork, and job wrap-up of each entity assigned
- Identify potential issues within engagements and develop practical, well-reasoned solutions
- Conduct industry-specific research, analyze data, and prepare reports with clear findings and recommendations
- Prepare and maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation
- Contribute to the preparation of client deliverables and communications
- Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships through responsiveness and quality service
- Continue developing technical knowledge through training and professional development opportunities
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and contribute to overall engagement success
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations

Your Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a related field
- Active CPA License
- Experience in areas such as affordable housing, tax credits, real estate, nonprofit accounting, or compliance is beneficial but not required
