Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical checks, and water quality assessments
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and ensure a positive guest experience through friendly service
- Perform routine pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, scrubbing tiles, and maintaining surrounding areas
- Support with general pool maintenance tasks like equipment inspection and minor repairs
- Maintain accurate incident reports and log daily activities to ensure safety compliance
Requirements
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and active monitoring duties
- Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not required
- Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations
