Job Summary
Porky's Backyard is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser/Utility Employee to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming entertainment plaza. This role is essential to providing guests with an outstanding experience by ensuring seating areas, common spaces, and service stations remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate is energetic, takes pride in their work, and is willing to assist wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables, seating areas, and gathering spaces quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the entertainment plaza, patio, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist bartenders and other team members by delivering supplies, refilling ice, stocking beverages, and responding to guest requests.
- Wash glassware, utensils, and other service items as assigned.
- Keep service stations stocked with cups, napkins, condiments, and other guest supplies.
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
- Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and perform routine cleaning duties throughout each shift.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Support all operational areas during busy service periods and special events.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, entertainment venue, janitorial, or utility experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Schedule Requirements
- Flexible availability is required.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Willingness to work varying shifts based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume entertainment venue, bar, event space, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety practices.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing operational needs.
