Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machining Specialist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manual and CNC-controlled machining equipment used to produce precision components and fabricated parts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components to required specifications and tolerances.
- Perform machine changeovers efficiently to support varying production schedules and order quantities.
- Interpret work orders, blueprints, and process documentation to ensure proper setup and production flow.
- Load tooling, fixtures, and workpieces; verify machine settings and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Perform deburring, minor adjustments, and troubleshooting throughout the machining process.
- Maximize machine efficiency and productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Operate multiple machines when production demands and cycle times allow.
- Record production data accurately in company systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and communicate maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Complete required job documentation and maintain organized work records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Support other production-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in CNC machining and machine setup required.
- Experience operating multi-axis machining equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Okuma, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and precision measurement.
- Technical training or certification in machining/manufacturing technology preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
