Experienced Electrician

P&L Electric is a family owned company located in the Denver metro area. We have been in business over 20 years. Our electricians are top notch and very experienced in all aspects of the electrical trade. P&L Electric is a respected commercial contractor working with a strong customer base. Majority of our work is commercial and industrial service, tenant finish, and small construction projects. We also service residential customers and are continuing to grow into the residential remodel world. There is always room for growth and career advancement with P&L.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for supervision and training of apprentices.
· Must be a team player and adapt to different crews in an ever changing environment.
· Responsible for running and completing projects from start to finish.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, submittals, etc.
· Ability to perform layout. Including service equipment, conduit runs, lighting, etc.
· Install all types of electrical raceways, cables, and wiring.
· Install and wire panels, transformers, disconnects, and any other equipment.
· Install and wire all types of lighting fixtures including retrofitting and replacing.
· Wiring of machines and equipment.
· Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills, including the use of meters and test equipment.
· Ability to adapt and improvise to different working conditions.
· Ability to work in all types of environments at any given time.
· Strong record keeping and organization.
· Self-motivated and able to work alone in many cases.
· Adhere to and enforce P&L Electric’s high standard and quality workmanship, as well as safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
· Colorado Journeyman License.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Driver’s license with clean driving record
· Reliable transportation
Experience:
· 2 years as a licensed electrician is preferred.
· Service experience is preferred.
· Bucket truck experience is preferred.
Tools:
· Must provide all appropriate tools.
