Position Summary
The Lead Senior Electronics Technician is responsible for leading the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex electronic systems and equipment. This role serves as a technical expert and team leader, providing guidance to technicians, supporting engineering and production teams, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. The position requires advanced diagnostic skills, strong leadership capabilities, and extensive experience with electronic circuits, test equipment, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and mentor a team of electronics technicians, providing technical direction and training.
· Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electronic assemblies, circuit boards and power supplies.
· Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
· Build and test current Production work orders.
· Support new product introductions, prototype builds, and engineering validation activities.
· Develop and implement efficient testing and repair procedures to improve quality and productivity.
· Operate and maintain electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters and other various equipment.
· Investigate root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
· Coordinate workload priorities and ensure projects are completed within schedule requirements.
· Ensure compliance with ESD, IPC, safety, and quality standards.
· Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues.
· Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
Required Qualifications
· Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
· 7+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
· Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment.
· Strong understanding of analog, digital, RF, and power electronics.
· Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
· Experience using advanced electronic test and measurement equipment.
· Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) preferred.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or other related discipline.
· IPC Certification (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
· Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
· Experience supporting engineering development and prototype programs.

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour
