2–3 Year Old Teacher – Join Our Little Lites Family!

At Little Lites Christian Learning Center, we're looking for a caring, energetic teacher to join our 2–3-year-old classroom and help our toddlers learn, grow, and discover the world around them.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Welcome children and families each morning and provide friendly updates at pick-up.
- Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, music, movement, sensory play, and story time.
- Teach early learning concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and social skills through hands-on play.
- Encourage independence by helping children develop self-help skills like handwashing, using utensils, cleaning up, and beginning potty training.
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play while ensuring children's safety at all times.
- Help with meals and snacks while promoting healthy eating habits and good manners.
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed.
- Foster positive behavior using patience, encouragement, and consistent guidance.
- Work closely with your classroom team to create a fun, organized, and nurturing learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- A warm, patient, and nurturing personality.
- Someone who loves to play, laugh, sing, and actively engage with young children.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have CPR and First Aid Certification (or are willing to obtain it).
- Are familiar with state licensing regulations.
- Have experience with potty training toddlers.
- Enjoy creating fun learning experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
