Happy Health Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable CNA or HHA to join our Adult Day Health team.
We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working in a diverse adult population and thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Position Schedule:
Full- Time
Monday–Friday (Daytime hours)
Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, transfers, grooming, and mobility
- Support participants during recreational and therapeutic activities
- Assist with safe transfers (including wheelchair and gait belt use)
- Provide respectful personal care while maintaining participant dignity
- Work closely with nursing and activity staff
- Engage participants socially and emotionally
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Active CNA or HHA certification
- Experience working with elderly or disabled adults preferred
- Ability to assist with physical transfers and ACTIVITIES
- Comfortable assisting participants of all genders with personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass CORI and background check
