Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all patient and clinic orders are packaged securely, labeled correctly, and shipped out promptly. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires organization, accuracy, and the ability to follow strict pharmaceutical shipping protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack prescriptions and medication orders
- Print and apply shipping labels for USPS, FedEx, and other carriers
- Verify prescription details and order contents before packaging
- Handle temperature-sensitive items using cold packs and insulation as needed
- Track outgoing shipments and assist with lost/delayed packages
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
- Follow HIPAA and pharmacy compliance regulations
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shipping supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping/receiving or fulfillment experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment
- Basic computer skills for label generation and tracking
